Start Community Health Center is a non-profit organization located at 1505 North Florida Street in Covington, Louisiana. "Most staff and doctors are wonderful, however Dr. Debbie Pierce proved to be unreliable, unhelpful, and un-empathetic. Her appointment consisted of her listing symptoms and asking 1-5 and nothing more, cutting me off when I tried to explain or elaborate, and she denied refills on my high dosage anti-depressants when I was unable to get an appointment in the time frame the prescription had run out, causing me to go through cold-turkey withdrawal. Twice. On two separate occasions."

"I had my first visit today. A wonderful experience. I was checked in and registered quickly. I was seen by the nurse and then nurse practitioner quick as well. The nurse practitioner Mrs. Brady took the time during my visit. Listened to my concerns. Everyone from check-in, nurse, lab tech were great! Thanks."
"Dr. McKay is such a wonderful doctor. I’ve moved around a lot so I’ve had many primary doctors... Dr. McKay has to be my favorite one. She walks you through all your questions and speaks the information so thoroughly. Every time I visit I feel so welcomed and leave feeling understood and hopeful knowing that she will do what it takes to get the job done. Thank you to everyone from the front desk to the back for being quick in service and very sweet. I will recommend this doctor office 100% everytime."
