"I had a package that I know for a fact was out for delivery; the mail not only came about 5 hours later than normal, but the package was forgotten. I believe that this was due to the mailman not bothering to check for miscellaneous items after a long day. These same people have been known to drive their vehicle onto my driveway to drop off a small package instead of merely walking to the door from the road. We also constantly receive others' mail."
