Westwick Apartments

"Been living here for 3 years now and this is the worse place you could live. I would give this place zero stars if that was the option. They raising rent because they decided to add cameras and a dog park. They take they time when it comes to maintenance and they half do they job. I've complained and put requests in for my floor to be fixed and it hasn't been done for the past 2 years. The roaches in this place is so bad they can't even keep it under control. They get paper work/rent messed up so you will always find yourself in the office complaining. They are becoming so strick you can't have anything on your OWN patio/balcony without you getting a note on your door. They rather leave notes on the door then knock/call you about a situation. The pool is rarely cleaned and if they do decide to clean it they put way to much chlorine you can't even get near it without your eyes tearing up. Not worth the money or experience. These apartments are not worth $750 and up on rent."

"They have treated me very poorly and never kept their promises. First, I signed online lease for $670 for apartment #61 for 15 June for six months. This is their storage unit which was not ready and #125 would be by end of June. Then, however, management changed to Blake's Crossing; they would not honor the lease I had signed in May. Instead, the apartment was to be totally renovated with new apliances; I moved down on 15 July from Iowa, to find that I was told to stay off the property until I signed a lease. The next afternoon the new lease was $875 for year lease, ($950 if I wanted original six month lease) apartment was not ready, namely, bathroom not done, floors had paint on them, refrig was not new, dishwasher fell out of cabinet when lower drawer out, storage closet on patio needed lock changed. It is now three weeks later, and the bathroom is unfinished, no fix for dishwasher, no new lock for storage so I can access it. but the floors were cleaned of white paint specks. I need a threshold ramp for my VA scooter, and was told that I had to pay for it myself. My VA friend has a service dog and I am told that he cannot visit unless he sends in paperwork to management so he can be regarded a "pet of the leasee" or he cannot came on the property. Nearly daily I would ask Rose to have things fixed. Her promises to take care of things never were fulfilled. I had little option but to sign their 20 page lease, which demands taking no part in any class action suit against them, one month rent penalty for vacating property before lease up, $75 fine for missing rent payment. . . I am 74, a disabled VET and this is the absolute worst I have been treated by any property management. I will do all I can to leave as soon as I can."

"If you're looking for a resort-type apartment complex where you're being served cheese, wine and sunshine, this isn't the place. If you're looking for a management team that will do their very best to make certain ALL tenants receive good service-you won't be disappointed. They are as active with solving problems as YOU are at being neighborly. The complex itself is definitely aged however home is where you make it!"

"Like most of the other reviewers say, the walls are way too thin. I hear everything my neighbors say. Even the ones under me. And management is always putting papers in my door saying they're gonna re paint the stripes on the parking areas, or they're gonna do pest control. But they never do. Stripes still arent painted. The apartment had roaches when i moved in. Ive been controlling them on my own. Despite the issues with management not keeping their word, i love the location. Its convenient to live by everything."

"Despite other people’s opinions, Westwick Apartments has been a great place for my family. We weren’t in the. Eat place financially when we were looking for a place to live. Westwick didn’t discriminate because of oírme situation. For the most part, we’ve had great neighbors. Of course, you always have some issues with rowdy neighbors, but the management has always taken care of issues quickly. Police drive through the area often, and if you are cordial to them, you’ll find out they check on your unit more often than others. My building neighbors have been amazing. I know I can count on them to keep an eye out on porch pirates and I’ve always tried to help them out as well. My maintenance issues have always been addressed quickly. Sure, your going to have bugs in your house if you leave out food. I’ve never had a real problem and when I did, Ms Rose has taken care of pest service quickly. My only complaint is you can’t prepay your rent through the app. If you want luxury, don’t expect it for $575 a month. But if you want comfortable, basic housing in a kid-friendly area, Westwick is great. 2/19/19 update: While I still agree about most of the comments I made, they have recently started ignoring maintenance requests. I’ve been without functioning lights in the living room for almost ten days. I’ll amend my review if/when Westwick decides to fix the issue. Ironically, paying late would result in eviction; apparently living without lights doesn’t warrant timely rectification."
