"Outstanding place to stay either while fishing in the area or for a special event at the spacious , well equipped venue. Grills, fire pits, and fish cleaning stations throughout! Stocked lake on the property. Plenty of parking!! Brian and Peytra are the best!!"
"Took my husband fishing for his birthday. We decided to try here. Staff was really nice. Room was clean. I'm a big girl so shower and toilet were tight. I pre-cooked / prepped our meals since there was a minii fridge and microwave in the room. We enjoyed our stay. My biggest complaint is that we are coffee drinkers and there just weren't enough k cups (but, they did bring more when asked)"
"Great place for family reunion. Catering can be delivered to back door of lodge. Cottages were very clean and comfortable. Owners are so helpful! They advised us of great restaurants, tour of Rowan, Wildlife Safari Park and other great spots to see in the area."
"This was our families second stay here and it was fantastic! We enjoyed our 4th of July Weekend in the lake and it was nice come back to a clean cabin instead of a hotel several miles away. The cleaning lady is fabulous and goes above and beyond. 5 stars for her alone. She’s great! The owner is awesome! He will try everything in his power to accommodate and make you happy! If you are leary about staying here I’m here to tell you it’s worth every penny! Enjoy your stay!"
"We had a wonderful time and my Aunt had an amazingly beautiful wedding. The owner was so friendly and accommodating. Beautiful space for all venue needs with some cabins and rooms to stay. The lawn and grounds were beautifully manicured. The hall was the perfect size for our needs with a kitchen area for the caterer. I highly recommend doing business with Chicksaw Hills."
