DR. ROMERO MIDGETT

"EXTREMELY RUDE My first child was delivered by Midgett in 2021, the care consisted of basically nothing he just listens to the heartbeat and send you on your way …. He delivers at Merit Health which is a different story for a different day very slow and understaffed, inequip & the nurses kept telling me I was 2cms dialated all night long until they finally changed shifts and immediately a new nurse informed me I was actually 6 and was about to miss my epidural ! Had to wait a hour for the anesthesiologist to show up and even worse a hour for Midgett to show up after I was already in the air and ready to push! I thought the nurses made a one time mistake but nope my friend delivered for thanksgiving 2022 and they did her the same way she was at 5cm before they caught on that she wasn’t 2cm and ready for epidural! Also he was extremely rude to her and yelling out smart remarks during the delivery! Now here I am 2nd child receiving ob care thru Midgett and had plans to transfer later in pregnancy because he has the closest clinic but the worst care so I had to get my release paperwork done today and was told that I would have to sign a release of records by The lady at the clinic which Midgett operates and the clinic that I was going to said I would have to sign the release at midgets clinic! I get there and when I tell them I’m being transferred he gets loud and an attitude saying “IM JUST A DOCTOR WE DONT DO RELEASES” when I wasn’t asking him I was talking to the front desk lady. I wasn’t even surprised because he’s known to be extremely rude and aggressive towards patients and he likes to antagonize patients who come alone especially during childbirth"

"I love the staff and the Doctor. First time going. Been going back. Didnt like the MRI THEY had to use. I felt like a stuffed turkey but other than that. Satisfied with results"

"Late on a review but Dr.Midgett and his staff are awesome! He Delivered my second daughter and could not ask for better treatment and he even had little onsies made for his deliveries, just a all out great doctor!"

"Where is the 0 star option??? Horrible, horrible, horrible! If your doctor is not available to deliver your baby, ask for ANYONE ELSE instead of this man. Nasty attitude, impatient, and insensitive. Having a child (especially your first) is supposed to be a delightful experience with empathetic doctors and nurses. This man was a grinch! One of the rudest doctors I’ve ever encountered. I’ll never remember how he made me feel. He shouted at me rudely, “I’m not a fortune teller” in front of everyone when I (politley) asked a simple question about how long a procedure would take. He also had an attitude with one of his nurses when they asked a question. Why is he so frustrated and impatient? He’s in the wrong field and should not be practicing medicine. Please, stay away from this man! As a patient/new mother, you deserve better!"
