Wild Acres Hands on Animal Experience *APPOINTMENT ONLY*

"Wild Acres was a magical experience. The entire property was nice and with so many different animals. The animals were very interactive, and the guide was very knowledgeable. We opted for the sloth experience, which was so much fun. Due to bad traffic , we were late for our appointment, and Cody , the owner, still let us come and have our full experience even though we went over time. We didn't feel rushed at all. 10 out of 10 - I highly recommend you try this place out!"

"This is a beautiful and very well kept place. We were guided by a very nice guy named, Jordan. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and very friendly. Another awesome guy to mention is, Cody. He is very sweet and you can tell how incredibly passionate he is about all of the animals he takes care of. While we were there, Cody and his fellow team mate (I’m sorry, I’m not sure what her name is) were taking care of a Bird enclosure, as it was going to be colder that evening. My family, and I thought that it was neat to see that, because they clearly care about their animals, and it’s very obvious (overall) that it’s not just a quick cash grab type of animal facility. We love that there were no questions, unanswered, and if someone didn’t know the answer to the question at the time, they were quick to get an answer for us. Cody was incredibly respectful, and we never felt rushed, or that we were taking too many pictures. You can clearly tell that he enjoys his job. Throughout the tour, you can see that he has a relationship with each animal, and that each one felt complete peace by his presence. Awesome place, and awesome staff. I wish I could give this more stars."

"Awesome place! We visited for a homeschool field trip and enjoyed much more than any zoo we have ever been. The staff was friendly, we had a tour guide explaining all the different animals very educational. It was smaller than a zoo but the hand on experience, petting, feeding and live tour with education made it all worth it!"

"ABSOLUTELY THE MOST FANTASTIC HANDS ON ANIMAL EXPERIENCES; EVER!!! The Otter Swim was such a BLAST & lasted almost 2 hours! The owner is a sweetheart and so was our tour guide. This was worth EVERY penny spent. 13/10 I DO RECOMMEND!!!!!"

"This was our first time at Wild Acres. We did the private tour + babies of the wild add on. As other reviewers said, this is not a typical zoo experience. You have a guide who takes you around and tells you about the animals. Our guide was Jordan and he was very friendly and informative. As part of the regular tour, you are able to pet, feed, and hold a few animals. The babies of the wild add on was inside where Trista and Bri brought in the animals one at a time. They were also very personable and knowledgeable. We were able to hold and feed a sloth, pet & feed a kinkajou, play with a fennec fox, and bottle feed a goat. They also had a new baby kangaroo they were excited to let us hold, which they didn't have to as it was not listed on the package and we were not expecting it. It was an awesome surprise! The experience was more pricey than a zoo but also more personable and interactive. It really can't be compared because they are two totally different things. My family enjoyed this experience very much and we will definitely be back!"
