"Unusually don't leave bad reviews but because this hit so close to home I wanted to make as many people in the surrounding area aware that this isn't the person to do business with. Maybe for small jobs but for time consuming, very detailed work he done very poorly. Well for starters, I took vehicle to him to inquire about possible transmission swap, he was very confident about doing the job and stated it shouldn't take long because I made him aware the transmission I was swapping had a 30 day warranty, and after 30 days even if it's bad I would be stuck with it. So he said he would have the old one out and the new one in in no time. He proceeded to ask for half the money to do the job and telling me the remaining amount will be paid after job is complete. This already was a red flag considering my past experience from shade tree machanics asking for money in advance to only do a half job because they was already paid, and started to do other jobs leaving yours behind because they received funds for it already. But that's exactly what happened and I should've known better. He then left my car sitting for 3 weeks, he threw my vehicle off on 4 other machanics telling them whoever finish my car can have the other half of the money. While in the process they broke my started, made a coolant leak in my vehicle that isn't repaired and put a dent in my car. I was so disappointed at the service that I was considering taking him to court but the last machanic who worked on my vehicle that day stayed with me to make sure to the best of his ability that my car was in good standing because James left and didn't want to see me face to face. He put me off on this new guy. I done business with Mr James and for him to throw me off to a new guy who didn't no how my vehicle got in that shape is bad business. I am bringing to everyone's awareness not to go to this shop. My family had history with him, that I didn't know until last minute that he screwed up their vehicle also. As well as asking for big money in advanced just to leave your vehicle sitting afterwards and then after he know he got to do something when weeks have past he rush and screw something else up. My vehicle is in worse shape than when I bring it to him. Bad leaks, bad starter, wrong bolts in screws in my vehicle, bolts that holds my motor and transmission are missing. I'm just disgusted never have I been treated so poorly with a machanic as this. Sad because I'm in the business of selling cars and was shopping around for a local machanic and was gonna give him plenty of business if the job was successful but to my dismay it was horrible. Stay away from this guy unless it's simple jobs. But time consuming jobs which require detail and patience take it to someone else are you would be in the same boat as me"

"Really nice helped me out when triple A was gunna take more then 12 hours to tow me i then meet this company James was nice an poilte and wasnt afraid to get dirty he made a piece for my starter to crank then i got it home then next day he showed up as promised and iput on a brand new starter and the pricing was more then fair . He is now goinf to be my number one go to for anything dealin with my jeep or car's"
