The Burger Shop

"I just left there and didn't eat. I waited for my food and noticed the cook doesn't was his hands. He keep a table in front of the hand washing sink so he never uses it. He kept cleaning his hands with a towel that's hanging on the side of his pants inside of the waist band touching his skin. I watched the guy take out raw hamburger season it all bare hand slide it in the oven and while his hands on the towel hanging from his shorts. Then when I got my food and open the container to check my food there was a long hair sticking out of the Bunn on top of the burger. I didn't open any thing else. I showed the lady and asked for a refund. Don't risk your health! Don't eat there!"

"My brother and I stopped on our way through to Louisiana and are so glad we did! The outdoor seating was comfortable and clean. The Jr. Burgers were the perfect size for us and absolutely delicious. The garlic potato wedges were phenomenal with a nice crisp and tons of flavor. If we lived around here, we'd be back!"

"I tried to take pictures before I started eating but I couldn’t stand it and had to take some bites even though everything was piping hot off the grill!! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. I got the bacon bacon cheeseburger. The burger was so juicy and full of flavor, the bacon was super thick and cooked to perfection. I also got the loaded potato wedges and they were amazing!! Melty cheese and even some burnt cheese on the edges which I love. The prices are a little higher but for what you get I’d much rather be spending my money at a local place. I’m a harsh judge of burgers and The Burger Shop absolutely delivers!! I’ll be back soon!"

"The burgers that my children and I ordered were quite good. However, my husband found a piece of wood plastic in his shrimp po’ boy. The cook merely replied “my bad” and did not offer to replace the sandwich or comp it. My husband also found a weird tissue in his chili that looked like skin or organ lining (see pic). Needless to say we won’t be returning."

"I don't eat many burgers, so I've always passed by The Burger Shop when I'm in Hernando, but today I thought I'd try it out, and I'm glad I did. I ordered red beans and rice and seasoned potato wedges, and they tasted just like delicious homemade food. So good! I will definitely be back here to have more of the same and try some of the fish dishes, and maybe even a burger."
