About the Business

Lewis Creek Park

Located on the north shore of Foster Reservoir in Oregon, United States, Lewis Creek Park is a 40-acre park that offers a variety of activities for visitors. With amenities such as boarding floats, moorage, picnic areas, and a roped-off swim beach (no lifeguard), the park is a popular spot for water enthusiasts and picnickers alike.

Visitors can enjoy swimming, picnicking, day use moorage, and access to drinking water at Lewis Creek Park. The park also hosts the Tru West Open Water Water Polo event annually during the second week of July.

In addition to recreational activities, Lewis Creek Park has undergone public outreach to gather community perspectives for the creation of two draft concept plans. The park is managed by Linn County Parks and offers a range of family-friendly amenities, including fishing, boating, camping, museums, and historic sites.

With hiking trails, waterfalls, covered bridges, and swimming areas, Lewis Creek Park is a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore the natural beauty of Oregon.

"Beautiful park, clean water, surrounded by forested hills. We were there on a Thursday, so it wasn't to crowded. Technically, dogs wee not supposed to be on the beach but a few people had their dogs there enjoying the water and no one seemed to mind, as they were all well behaved. Its quite a trek from West Washington County but well worth the drive."

"How have I lived in the Valley for 33 years and never been to this site? It's really great! We were there on a weekday, so it wasn't too crowded. The water was perfect! We were able to swim and paddleboard and had a great shaded area with a picnic table for snack time and reading. There is a regular bathroom as well as several port-a-potties. On this day there was plenty of parking but I've heard that weekends get very crowded. It was definitely a great site for simple water fun and picnics. I believe there are outdoor grills there, but I'm not positive about that."

"There are a lot of beautiful picnic areas in the shade surrounded by trees. The swimming area is good. Unfortunately, if you are disabled and mobility is an issue, this isn't the place for you. No access to picnic tables from paved walkways and the picnic and swimming areas are far from the parking lot. Need to use the restroom? Good luck making it that far. It's a long way from the lot and picnic areas, as well. I couldn't go to the bathroom the whole time we were there because I couldn't physically move that far. It was miserable."

"Nice and quiet before the summer months hit. Even though the gate is closed there is enough room to safely park about 6 vehicles off the main road. We walk our dogs here often. If you bring your dogs please be respectful and pick up after them. About my only gripe is the fact that bathrooms are not open year around but that is my being picky."

"Beautiful, clean and quiet. Plenty of places for field games, bbqs, lounging. Designated swimming spot, boat ramp, walkin bridge and plenty of trails. Pet friendly."
