"It's a nice stop of you are nearby, but I wouldn't drive out of your way. It's small, and the creek runs very low. There are picnic tables and a vault toilet."

"This place did not disappoint, after returning 30 plus years later. The park has changed, it used to be a big loop, with a bridge on each side, but one of the bridges has been removed now. During this visit you could tell that there was still quite a bit of downed limbs from a recent ice storm. But there are nice level paths, several firepit and picnic table areas, lots of access to the creek, and a toilet. Beautiful area, with all the forest smells."

"Oh i love this place always the only one there. So no worries about having the dogs off leash just a hidden gem. Oh side note it was only 74 degrees when dallas was 86."

"We went to this park for a bathroom break it turned out to be amazing. There are wide gravel trails you can walk on and park benches with bbq stations along the way. Its riddled with wildlife and lots of direct access to a shallow slow moving creek the kids would go out and find crawfish in. They also got to see a giant owl up close. 5 star experience for just taking a restroom stop."

"Cute little park. A few well maintained picnic spots. Soooo many mosquitoes. We got eaten up!"
