"We received 4 bids to replace our 1913 oil furnace (!!!) with either a central heat pump system or mini-multi splits from 4 different local companies with good reviews. Ultimately, it was easy for us to choose Chase because: They offered excellent, detailed quotes for each option. They took the time to talk about the location of air handling unit, the exterior heat pump unit, and the location of all the vents or split units so we would understand what the final product we live with will be like. They worked with us to locate vents in our basement that would allow us to save room for a future remodel. We have had the York central heat pump system in operation for the last month and feel Chase did an excellent job at the installation. It is important for homeowners to understand what the experience of heat pump systems will be vs. natural gas furnaces (note, natural gas burns clean but extracting it is terrible for the environment) or vs. electric baseboard heaters (click click click). Heat pumps are eligible for rebates for low-income households and tax credits for high-income households and Chase helped with information about this too.
