"Let me just start off and just say I’ve been looking for someone to look at my Yami 150 2 stroke for months and nobody seemed interested and rude on the phone. My last desperate call was to Island Marine. They were super friendly and professional over the phone and talked me through ideas and possible issues in case I wanted to fix it myself. "I drove 1 1/2 hrs too island marine from Portland to purchase a new gear case for my outboard after being told from another shop they could not fix my case they said it was no good the men at island marine took my gear case and completely rebuilt it the same one that I was told was no good. The customer service is so over the top. I was told it would take a week to get it back I was not even back home from dropping my part off when my phone ring I thought oh man what know and the man on the other line said your case is done you can come pick it up. That man heard me tell is father that I took the day off work to bring my part too them so he took it opon his self to get it done that same day. Now that is customer appreciation and I appreciate them so much i am a customer for life thanks guys"
"So far so good, picked up a used 60hp mercury and couldn’t be happier. They were spot on with their time estimate, price estimate, and came right out to help me with a small issue I found when picking up the boat. All work looked neat and done well. Great people and glad I made the hour drive to them. Motor rips on my little lund."
