About the Business
The Gate Youth Association is a vibrant community gym and health center located at 1501 Monmouth Street in Independence, Oregon. Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming space for young people to engage in physical activity, learn about health and wellness, and build strong relationships with their peers. Our state-of-the-art facility offers a variety of fitness equipment, group classes, and personalized training programs to help individuals of all ages achieve their health and fitness goals. "The gate offers different times for middle schoolers and high schoolers to come in and hang out. They have certain activities that take place on different days although you don't have to participate. Video games, basketball, volleyball, etc. They also offer food if kids are hungry after school. Great program, run off of donations. Doors are locked from the outside and people are posted by the door for safety reasons."
