"I've coached boys youth recreational basketball with the YMCA the past 2 years and highly recommend it for kids looking to try basketball out or continue to play on a team. The Hoop location and OES are great facilities for games and practices. They offer a full hour practice on a separate day and a game which is perfect when teaching young kids developmental skills in basketball. Stilyan did an excellent job with the communication and organization throughout the season! The refs made sure that the rules were followed and made calls based on individual abilities. They also were excited and having fun with the kids!"

"I think the pricing is outstanding. My child gets out of school at 3pm and to go to a program at YMCA it’s close to $800 per month $765 to be exact just to be there for two hours. As a single parent this is just unrealistic and outrageous. That is literally half of rent. That is just after/before school childcare! After that I didn’t even look any further into any sports/activity programs. I thought the YMCA was supposed to be affordable at these prices they are not."

"This is our first year participating in YMCA basketball and I’m super impressed! After the first weekend of games Stilyan (runs basketball program) noticed the crowded gym and took the time to recreate schedules to make it a better experience for all. He and the league have also had clear and concise communication and it’s been a positive experience for a kiddo and as a parent!"

"I was amazed to be charged $17 to watch my 8 year old great grandson play basketball! I thought YMCA was supposed to be an affordable place for families! I am 70 and no discount even for seniors. I will skip any future games held there."

"Attended a basketball tournament today and there's a few things you should know if you're planning on going. Parking is limited be prepared to park on the street as much as 2 blocks from the facility. There are six basketball courts all being used at the same time. Seating is limited. Admission is $7 per adult with a option to purchase beverages at the register. transactions must be done using a card no cash option. Having said all that the staff are friendly and they do a pretty good job of getting you in and out."
