"Really?? Been calling MY HUSBAND for 2 hours NEW YEARS EVE !! 2400 AND THEY literally don’t answer what the F is wrong with them?? Don’t they know we want to talk to our loved ones Who don’t have a phone and have to rely on them?? Obviously they don’t care. This is not the first issues I’ve had with this company. I’m really not happy. I want to move my family member out ASAP.!!!!"

"Avamere in Junction city discriminates against registered service animals even though they have a pet policy that allows animals in the facility. (He needed to be with me that day!). Rather than to allow my dog to come in on a day that ended up being hotter than expected and cool off for an hour although the animal literally had ice in his water, three dog cooling mats, and in the shade and air condition I was bullied out of the facility, and told never to return without even the option of explaining myself. This is the only facility I have ever experienced this in. Any other Avemere, or any other facility I've ever been in has not been any thing other than 100% supportive."

"My mother has been there for 2 weeks. She is very quiet and never asks for much. They had her in a room that didn't have any heat. Finally after 2 weeks they moved her to a different room. They never get her more water. She has a problem with dehydration (kidneys) They didn't dump the urine out of her commode. She tried. She spilt it. Is she just suppose to wait all day to pee. Also she fell this last week trying to go to the restroom. Because when she pushes her button they never come. I understand everyone is short staffed. I'm very disappointed in their care. All the residents deserve better than the way they've ignored my mother."

"Finally got the opportunity for my brother and I to personally meet our Dad in the care of your facility. We're all fully vaccinated which made it an incredible experience to be able to give him a hug and shake his hand after a year. Pretty emotional moment"

"Both my grandma and grandpa have been here but I've come to visit other people in their care. When I go there, there's almost always multiple staff sitting at the front while the call lights are on. My grandma who was otherwise on the mend, contracted an infection at this place which caused her death. I've been going here since 2002 to visit residents, whether related to me or not, and I have seen no improvement in care, compassion or kindness since then (regardless of ownership changes) - it now being 2020."
