"Ugh... where do I start... I took debbies class about 4 years ago and I’m ashamed that it took me 4 years to write this review but after me and another one of her students reminisced on her sham of a class I decided to come back and write a review. This class was a complete waste of money and the only thing that you leave with is a “certificate of competition” which is worth absolutely nothing... it’s not a license nor a national certification. In fact... you cant even take the national licensing exam after taking her course because her course is in no way shape or form accredited. When I moved to Washington I applied for a license (which Debbie signed with a smile knowing it wasn’t valid) and my license was denied. I called the licensing department and the gentleman I spoke with said that he feels really bad for her students because he constantly rejects those applications because her class is not actually accredited... you don’t even need a license to work in the state of Oregon. You’re better off applying at Red Cross or a plasma center which will take you with no experience and train you on site for experience. Debbie did nothing but talk about herself the majority of the class and her experience. As a matter of fact.. if you want to “pass” all you have to do is show up and be chummy with her. She doesn’t care about whether you walk away with knowledge or not as long as you guys have a good laugh together and her pockets are lined with your cash. Do yourself a favor and take an actual licensed course and learn proper phlebotomy. My friend even failed her class but she liked him so she passed him. She even threatened me with a lawsuit for “slander” when I called her out on signing my application for my Washington phlebotomy license knowing that it wasn’t going to be approved."

"This class and teacher are INCREDIBLE! I have nothing but amazing things to say! Debbie has taught me so much more than just Phlebotomy, she's taught me valuable life lessons with the personal enrichment that she offers in her classes. So many amazing stories that just make a difference and change the way you look at the world. The classes are small, like 10 people in a class... So you really get that one on one training. In the lab, its just her, you and your partner... She holds your hand the first half of the class, and teaches you how to redirect if you miss a vein, she teaches how to palpate the vein so you can find it easily. She taught us to give our patient the pickle, (look it up) which was one of my favorite things! I love that in the lab its one on one with her, so you're really getting QUALITY training. I only missed a vein once or twice the entire class because of her EXCELLENT HANDS ON training with us. I just cant say enough good things about this class and Debbie. She really is an incredible person and teacher. I feel so lucky to have taken your class. Thank you for this amazing opportunity!!"

"Just spent the last 5 1/2 weeks with one of the most amazing human beings I’ve ever met. You are not only getting an incredible skill set of phlebotomy you are getting one to one personal enrichment and life skills. Working in the medical field is one of the most challenging careers to work for. When you enroll with Debbie you are leaving with the complete package to succeed in all aspects of this field and beyond!! I cannot say though great things about her school and program!!!!"

"I just graduated from West Coast Phlebotomy a week ago today! It was the greatest learning experience Ive ever had! Debbie is the best instructor and she instills pride in what you do and makes you want to be the best in your profession. Im going to strive to continue to learn and implement all I have been taught in what ever job I get!! My time at West Coast Phlebotomy went by so fast and I really wish I had 6 more weeks there!! I miss Debbie already!"
