After a mixup with my state taxes, all of my attempts for help went unanswered and I was only able to get a copy of my records after contacting the Board of Accountancy. I would not trust them and there are much more competent and professional tax preparers in the Seaside area. Avoid at all costs."

"Ken’s firm literally forgot about me, my business, my employees and my taxes. For months I was sending emails to an accountant who wasn’t even with Ken’s firm anymore asking questions about 401k contributions and getting zero responses. I finally called Ken’s office and was informed the guy I was working with...was gone. Didn’t even work there anymore! No auto reply email was sent to me, no email from the firm, no phone call. Nothing. Meanwhile, my paperwork sat at their office for five months waiting for my taxes to get done but nobody responded to anything except Ken saying he almost had them done. For five months. DURING QUARANTINE. Meanwhile, I applied for four PPP loans myself with zero help from my CPA because he was again, missing. Then the IEDL loan information came through and no response to my emails from Ken regarding that either. Finally, when I drove down to the the offices to ask what’s going on, Ken himself called me, angry I’d suggest that perhaps their firm was “going under.” It would be hard to surmise anything else when you literally don’t file extensions, don’t communicate with your client, don’t remember you’ve done their taxes for two years previously. After speaking to my attorney about it, we’ve decided the best thing to do next is to file against Ken’s license. Which we are proceeding towards next. Other small businesses should not have someone like this in charge of anything related to legal deadlines when they can’t be bothered to actually communicate with their clients. Be warned. Ken’s office is unorganized, uncommunicative and most definitely obstructive to a small family business dependent on professionals to keep everyone current, up to date and paid."
