I was impressed by the focus on "chosen family" including queer families, adoptions, and even beloved friends who have been informally adopted into our hearts. There's also a focus on financial planning for special needs, informed by the personal experience and family life of the lead attorney. I received a consult, in which I learned that I needed to use an attorney in the state where my parent lives, so I didn't end up working with them. But In that short conversation I got some valuable advice which included identifying an error in the post I'd seen on social media (regarding "Transfer on Death" order, I learned that this can complicate things in some states! Yikes, thanks for the advice!) All in all, a very positive experience that inspired me to write a review!"
