"Great experience with refinance of my car loan! They took what was not a great situation for me, and made it much much better! Super professional at all levels of service!!! I've never really considered opening up an account but after such a great experience, I'm going to do so. Update: Ryan in Business Banking is amazing !!!!"
"Stay clear of these guys as they wear crocodile smiles when setting you up to swallow. Used to be Portland Teachers CU and I was a Member for 15 years with personal loans. They seemed ok at first, but when my wife and kids got in an “total”accident that was not our fault, they would not help replace vehicle. Even after we both had excellent credit and never missed payments. So moved all of our money to a better bank. Bump ahead now many years later. I took care of my parents thru their passing and Im the personal rep for their Small Estate. I went in to take care of some paperwork stuff as the house has mortgage with OnPoint and the employees were nice. But then the lead mortgage person called me and was almost threatening that I stay in contact every week while Estate goes thru probate or it could go in to foreclosure. The house has over 300k in equity and is worth 450k. They would call me every week to where it was almost harassing so I told them to ask my attorneys about probate status as the probate was taking so long. It’s been almost 3 years now with no probate settled yet. Through this 3 year process I was using my own money and inherited 401k to pay mortgage but started to fall a bit behind. I exhausted my inherited 401k and my personal 401k. Then Only to receive letter of possible foreclosure. I never received any options of mortgage help other than to sell house. Their only concern is to kick me out to make THEIR money back like lead Mortgage person told me.. More the less robbing my parents of the 300k they worked their rears off to pay. Btw, the Attorneys quit representing me as I called em out on padding their invoices which is up to 27k now. I provided both parents wills, sent itemized asset list, and house appraisal. Estate was worth less than a million, so it should've been done for 3-5k within a year at the most. So in my closing, be very careful as I think these Estate organizations (Attorneys, Banks, Courts, Developers) all pool together to kick out old residents. Message me if youd like more details on which locations and names of people and/or Attorneys. I will just say both Organizations are from Portland, OR."
"Would not recommend getting an auto loan through this branch, I have a 700+ credit score and the guy I worked with was 1) late getting papers to auto dealer to finalize the deal, 2) had wrong information on the auto loan papers, 3) didn't respond to emails, and worst of all 4) took over a month to finish the auto loan refinance when it should've taken a day or 2. I can't even say there online banking experience is good, loan payments are a hassle as well. Just lazy and incompetent all around."
"My mom has been a member since the late 1940s, I have been a member since the mid 1990s. We are very happy with their service. They are very helpful and accurate with their advice and actions. They are accommodating with my mom who now is 103. They know we are not wealthy but they still treat us like we are valuable to them. They take time, are patient, and sometimes go beyond what we expect. We have had NO complaints over all these years!"
"OnPoint is my mother's main bank. She is in poor health and suffering from dementia. Fortunately she arranged for me to have power of attorney in case something like this happened. I informed Tony Buccola of OnPoint of the situation and provided him with the POA document and my ID. He and OnPoint are refusing to recognize the power of attorney and aren't giving any reason why other than "they don't have to." They are demanding that I bring my mother to the bank or they won't let me use her account to pay her bills. Several of her bills were already way behind before I even realized how bad things had gotten and I don't have the money to pay them myself. She would need medical transport to get to the bank and even if she was brought in she couldn't answer their questions. That's why she had the power of attorney drawn up. I'm at a loss what to do and OnPoint doesn't seem to care. (Edit update - Now the bank is demanding a letter from my Mother's doctor to prove she has dementia. They are no longer willing to speak to her because they are convinced it would be unproductive due to their belief she has dementia.)"
