Manzanita Rest Area Northbound Interstate 5, Grants Pass, OR 97526

"I don’t know if they are working on the bathrooms or what, but everything was locked up and all they had were 6 porta-potties out front. Stopped here on our way through from CA to WA to get a little test and wished we hadn’t, but were too tired to go on to the next. Most rest stops in OR are pretty nice but NOT this one. If you’re planning out your stops on a road trip, plan for the next one. Would have given it only one star but at least they provided the honey buckets."

"One of the best rest stops I have seen! By far so far. Very safe environment and clean, a bunch of pet areas all around it. Picnic tables and vending machines. There are areas to walk around and I 5 looks really cool from there if u look up and to the right if u are standing on the sidewalk facing I 5. Nice place! Keep up the great work."

"Decent stop along I-5. Needed to sleep for the night and wasn't disturbed at all. Clean restrooms, plenty of parking, and room to stretch out."

"Without a doubt Oregon has the nicest rest areas of any state in the country. They’re all well kept well groomed the restrooms are kept very sanitary. Ample parking for vehicles with trailers or RVs and it’s easy on and off the freeway"

You never know about people these days!! Keep your doors locked!! Pay attention to people around you.. just facts in these times!! Great signs with some historic information about the Oregon trail and Native Americans"
