"My husband went into the West Linn office with extreme leg and foot pain. Dr. Meilllo was attentive and had him come back three days later for an ultrasound. Have never heard from them again. The doctor never reviewed the test results. I called twice and tried to make another appointment to get the results and the scheduler just said she would send a message to the doctor and they would get back to us. Three weeks later we are still waiting. I am trying now to get copies of the test results so we can take them to a different doctor. Update: I am adding an update and changed the rating to 3 stars. We were able to get an appointment with the Doctor again to get our test results. Dr Meillo was very informative and a little frustrated that we were not contacted earlier. He referred us to another Doctor that specialized in our condition who was great. This may have just been an issue with the support staff but they should work on improvements. If it was just the Doctor I would give them 4-5 stars but because of the administration of NW Extremity Specialists I had to leave it at 3 starts. We should not have to wait weeks just to get an answer."

"I rarely write reviews, but, with my recent experience with bunion surgery and post-op care with Dr Melillo, I wanted to share what a fantastic podiatrist he is. I highly recommend him in addressing any foot problems. Aside from being a top notch, highly skilled surgeon, his bedside manner is as good as it gets. He is gentle, kind and warm, and I never felt rushed in my consultations with him. He never once gave the appearance that he was "really busy and had to get to other patients"; he stayed present with me and completely answered every question I had. I had a lot of apprehension and anxiety about bunion surgery prior to my procedure, but with every step along the way, I always left Dr Melillo's office feeling assured, relaxed and confident about my foot's ultimate outcome, and throughout the entire recovery and healing process. I am now active again and very pleased with Dr Melillo's skill in the surgical correction of my bunion. I say 5 stars and 10 toes up for Dr Melillo!"
