"Ew. Based on all of the positive "reviews", I had a lot of hope for this place. Sadly, I am now questioning the authenticity of these, and other google reviews, based on how yucky this room was. My partner booked the room based on the ratings and reviews, and what we walked into was nothing close to the photos on the website, or the other people's feedback. Dirty smells, stained sheets, grimy bathroom and floors, horribly uncomfortable mattress, crusty and sticky surfaces and window coverings. The cherry on the cake was around 11pm when the guests in the upstairs unit checked in and sounded like a herd of elephants moving furniture for the next few hours. $200 poorer, a night of sleep lacking, aching back and itchy skin from who knows what was lurking in the sheets, mattress and carpeting, and there you go. This is not a 3 star hotel with 4+ stars. period."

"I would definitely stay again. This was my second stay. Tessa, Jenny, and Keegan were super friendly and helpful at the front desk. My suite was nicely appointed and clean, and a small view of the ocean. Some suites and rooms have big views. My room was quiet and the bed mattress was comfortable, so I had a great sleep! Breakfast at this price point was above average. I enjoyed bacon and scrambled eggs and potatoes. Also a fruit cup. I was tempted to have some French toast, as that is quite uncommon, but enough was enough. Finally, I should mention how friendly both of the kitchen staff were, including thanking me for coming, when I was leaving. It was great stay!"

"The room wasn’t perfect but the staff were awesome, attentive, helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond and made up for any shortcoming. Our suite had a fireplace, jetted spa for 2, Kind size bedroom, pullout sofa, living, dining, kitchen, 2 full bathrooms and a view of the ocean. If that wasn’t grand enough the breakfast spread certainly put it over the top! All you can eat buffet included make your own waffles, French toast, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, along with pastries, bagels, juices and a wide selection of hot beverages. Everything - and we tried everything- everything was cooked perfectly! The fireplace was going in the dining hall, the windows facing the sea and the staff were friendly and helpful. Lodging isn’t always about modern or up to date. It’s about the comfort and the experience. Rest assured you will be well taken care of and we are sure to go back with our family. Also, pet friendly and highly respectful of our service animal. Highly recommend."

"The hotel is located near Face Rock State Scenic Park, just off highway 101. It is also away from downtown so you will find it to be less busy. The room is renovated and it feels new and cozy. The room felt kind of dim with just only 1 light in the bedroom. Fortunately, after the table and bedside lamp were turned on, it felt brighter. One feature that I find really useful was the microwave, as I packed my own dinner before setting off the road trip. The bathroom is pretty roomy, though the shower is where the shows its age. It took me a while to figure out how to get the water to come out from the shower head, instead of the faucet. This was a comfortable stay that was reasonably priced. The resort-style design of the property also makes it more relaxing. As breakfast (albeit basic) is also complimentary, it is perfect for those who travel as a family, or in groups; as you can easily save hundreds of dollars just on breakfast alone."
