"We stayed one night and I was surprised at how many rooms they had that covered a rather large area. Our room in was clean and fully stocked. The shampoo smelled amazing! Not the single serving type, but a dispenser attached to the shower wall. The bed was wonderfully firm and very cozy. But I think the thing I liked most was that in addition to the standard built in heater, there was a space heater. Which was perfect with the arctic weather we had at that time. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's great otherwise."

"September of 2023 is the second time we stayed at this location. The room was clean. The beds were quite firm. The beds were also quite tall. My 5-foot tall mother had difficulty getting in it. There are padded benches at the foot of the bed and she used that to crawl up into bed. There were also two chairs in our two-bed room. The bathroom door was a bit warped and the bottom drug along the tiled floor. The water was very warm and didn't run out during showers. The hotel staff was very nice. The housekeeping staff happily gave us more coffee for our room (keurig machine). There is an app to use a smartphone as the room key which was very convenient when staying a whole week. The hotel is centrally located in Newport and easy to find - right off the 101. Many restaurants and several grocery stores including walmart, Safeway and Fred Meyer nearby for more budget-friendly meals."

"Our “non-smoking“ room clearly used to be a smoking room. This was not a slight odor from the guest before us - people had clearly been smoking in this room frequently, for a long period of time. You‘d have to get rid of the carpet and repaint the walls to get rid of the stench. On top of that there was no AC and the towels were dirty."

"We loved our stay at the Rodeway Inn. Mr. Lee has been so helpful and the staff is very nice. The room is a good size and has a microwave and fridge. There is ample counter space and chairs. The room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast is served at 7:30 and available all day so you don’t feel rushed. There is an excellent selection of muffins, bagels, toast, pastries, toppings and drinks. We would definitely stay here again. It’s a very convenient location and our stay was 8 nights and perfect! Download the phone app to unlock your room. It’s very convenient when you’re staying longer than one day!"
