Walmart Pharmacy

"I am exercising the practice of insanity going back to this pharmacy. I have had the pleasure of a smooth transaction about 5% of the time and the rest has been nothing but disappointment. One pharmacist even lied about a prescription not being called in when it had in fact been called in. I think they do this so people will require more prescriptions just to deal with their operation. It’s brilliant. If you want to know what it is like to see the walking dead manage a pharmacy, I encourage you to visit this location. EDIT: This pharmacy has gotten a ton better. They must have had some internal changes because they have been much easier to send and receive prescriptions."

"I hesitated a lot to write this review as a healthcare professional but I needed to , I have the worst experience ever in my life , I went to pick my mother's medication , of course , I always find the people there rude and very overwhelmed all the time , they never receive you with a nice smile or words and that was after their lunch break even !!! , after I picked up my mother's script , I started asking her about my daughter's script that was called in over 3 weeks ago as we never received a notification about it and when I started questioning if it needed prior authorization , the technician acted ruder and asked me harshly to move in to a different window ,she did not give me the chance to tell her that it is a pick up question , I asked to speak to the pharmacist ( Emily ) who came storming out , "trying to teach me how to speak to people", and when I gave her my honest opinion that is a model that can hurt their business , she threatened to ban me from their pharmacy !!!, I have so many patients that complained about everyone in this pharmacy except for the pharmacist AL Lee ( who I believe truly why patients including myself give this place a revisiting chance over and over again ) . I can not see myself or my patients being humiliated in this place !"

"I am a West Linn resident since 1997, and I have nothing but the best experiences with this pharmacy and their pharmacists. During COVID, they worked overtime (together with the doctors and nurses) to help the public, and they deserve a big pad on the back. People need to realize that the pharmacists can only distribute medication (i.e., they are not allowed to prescribe). It's unfortunate that many fully vaccinated people still caught COVID (including myself), but you still need a prescription from your family doctor to get the Paxlovid."

"I am not a Walmart customer, I almost never really go there... not just because of the brand- many reasons. But... the Walmart Pharmacy is most probably the very best one in the entire area. Is it the largest? No! Is it the quickest? It’s pretty efficient, but I think it’s about the same as other drugstores. So why 5 stars? Well, what makes a huge difference here, are the people. The pharmacist and the staff are just excellent. Very professional. With a kind, supportive attitude. Patient to explain, and answer our questions. We all have a bad day sometimes, but they have never been rude. So glad to discover a local pharmacy that hasn’t lost its humanity!"
