"Guidepost Montessori is the benchmark for preschools in Beaverton. The staff is invested in fostering a supportive, nurturing environment that sets the foundation for life-long learners. The value of enrolling in a Montessori program is evident once you see the sense of independence and self-motivation the curriculum instills in your child compared to other programs."

"Our 4 year old son started at Guidepost about 6 months ago. His teachers are amazing and my son loves being at school here. We get lots of photos and weekly updates. There are plenty of parent/student planned activities that help get to know the staff and other kids/parents which is nice. The new head of school started shortly after us and has brought a great positive energy and structure to the school also."

"Guidepost is a terribly inadequate educational institution. While claiming to be a school, it seems that education is not their primary focus; making money is. My daughter attended this school for nine months, during which there was chaotic management, severe teacher turnover, and despite their self-proclaimed Montessori status, her class had not a teacher certified in Montessori education. It appears they don't provide Montessori curriculum since they rarely send newsletters to parents, leaving us completely unaware of what our children do at school every day. Despite charging fees one-third higher or even more than regular daycares, they failed to deliver. Speaking of fees, when we decided to transfer due to extreme dissatisfaction, Guidepost refused to refund the deposit, even deducted an extra month's tuition. Even after three months, they still haven't returned the remaining money, constantly finding excuses despite our prior agreement. If you come across my review before sending your child to Guidepost, I hope my experience changes your mind. It's a terribly bad school and not worth recommending!"

"My child was enrolled at this location for roughly 4 months in 2023. We were originally at the South Beaverton location (which was amazing!) but transferred to this location based on the recommendations of the staff at the S Beaverton location. At the S Beaverton location we got photos and a written report everyday and he couldn’t wait to arrive everyday. At this location we seldom got any photos and zero written reports. On three separate occasion in the 4 months there he had a poopy diaper on pickup and bear in mind my son only poops every-other-day. He came home with scabby face after falling off a bike one day. The administration staff and teachers in his room kept turning over. We often arrived at the 8am drop off time and his teacher wouldn’t be there so all the parents had to regularly wait with their children for the teacher to arrive. The school regularly had closures due to illness and sewer backups. None of this things are particularly concerning in isolation but the third time I picked him up with a dried poopy diaper we were done. I feared for my child’s safety leaving him at this facility. The biggest indicator though was my child was not happy to be there. He went from running into the classroom at S Beaverton so happy to arrive and supper chipper on pickup to throwing tantrums in the parking lot and barely a smile on pickup a this location. Big lesson as a first time parent, don’t give a good thing if don’t need to (his spot went quick at S Beaverton after we transferred)."

"We moved from the east coast to Oregon and Guidepost has really helped in our family’s transitional move. My son enjoys working with all of his teachers and speaks very highly of them and the friends he has made in the 9 months we have lived in here. We are grateful to have found the Guidepost community."
