"Excellent selection, decent service. Generally a smooth experience when shopping here... ...except today when I encountered a ridiculous policy which I feel was used with discretion againt me because maybe I appear to fit the description of a white-collar criminal (young, non-white, tattooed, expensively dressed, ex-con.) Either that or this policy is new: I was asked to show that the name on the debit card I was using matched the one on my identification card. Despite being an approved secondary cardholder for this account, I was initially not allowed to use it for this reason. So I just added it to my digital wallet and used tap-to-pay, wasting several minutes of my time. I marveled at the uselessness of such a rudimentary policy."

"I've been a regular at Wild Side for about 3 years, so a good while now, and it's tough for me to write this, but things have really changed – and not for the better. The place used to have a great, customer-first vibe, but lately, it's all about the upsell. Every time I drop by now, there's a big push to get me to buy the most expensive stuff. I ask for something simple, and they're all about showing me something pricier. Trying to find something more budget-friendly feels like a lost cause because they seem to dodge the question or pretend like cheaper options don't exist. The last visit really got to me. I tried to use my girlfriend's debit card (she was totally fine with it) but they wouldn't let me because my name wasn't on the card. This has never been a problem anywhere else. What other establishment requires this? Why is this now required, when no where else practices this. So the curly haired sales dude gives me a hard time after upselling me - I step out, add the card to Apple Pay and then it’s fine. Make that make sense. I really miss the old Wild Side where you felt like they cared about what you wanted, not just how much they could make off you. It's a shame to see a good spot lose its way over sales. I won’t be coming back here."
