"My family stays here every time we visit the Oregon Dunes. We love the accessibility to the dunes while being out of the wind. The amenities available at camp are outstanding. This location is family and dog friendly. The kids dune area is especially great for young kids and we appreciate the rec area on bad weather weekends."
"Always good. Pretty empty since it wss late October, maybe 8 campers. Ice Cream social Saturdays are great."
"Been coming to this same place for over 8 years. this year for some reason they decided to allow children to ride bikes all around the campsite no only are they allowed to ride bikes all around the campsites they also can honk their horn nonstop to me the Dunes are meant for riding campsites are meant for relaxation. I understand kids need to play. The Koa has plenty of kid friendly things to do. Nobody wants to sit here and listen to bikes, ride in circles around us and honk and wave at us hours on end."
"Close to Coos Bay and beaches. DO NOT recommend to stay if you aren't an OTR fan. Campground is very noisy all day and night. Very dusty all day. Didn't use bath or showers because they were filthy any time we went to use them. Used our wet bath and toilet, which is fine since there is sewer hookup at sight. So, because of that we felt it was overpriced."
"Place has potential. Had high hoped. Planned to stay 2 nights. Where we were told bathrooms ended up being port a potties, no biggie. Didn't expect the glares when we didn't pull our own ATVs in. Planned on renting some the next day, however, after the less than stellar staff we decided to pack it up and spend our money elsewhere. Quiet hours start at 10 pm but gives those who bring their own ATV/UTV until 12am to be put away."
