"My husband and I had a very pleasant experience working with G and J Cabinetry. So much so, that we referred our family as well as 2 contractors. Unfortunately, 6 months after installation the paint on the cabinets began to chip (as well as the finish on our hardware). We contacted G and J Cabinetry with the assumption that they would fix the cabinets since we had had them for such a short time. I called and they requested that correspondence be done over text. (This is not an appropriate way to do business and leaves a lot of room for miscommunication). Then they said that they would re-spray the cabinets, but that it was our responsibility to get the cabinets to their shop. We live over an hour away from their shop so this request would require over 4 hours of driving in addition to uninstalling and reinstalling the cabinets, a task that a professional should really do in order for the cabinets to line up correctly. When I explained this to G and J they quit responding to my texts. My husband then followed up with them and had a similar experience. We spent a lot of money on custom made cabinets that now look worse than something I could have purchased at IKEA. The quality is poor and their customer service is even worse."
