"I am extremely disappointed by the service and professionalism of this company, and would urge people to steer clear. We hired them to do bartending for us on our wedding night, and they hired first time bartenders and did not batch make cocktails as we had planned. As a result, the lines were incredibly long (our friends weren’t on the dance floor because they were in line), and the cocktails did not taste at all like they did during our tasting. We brought this up after the wedding and they agreed to give us a partial refund. This was over 9 months ago and they haven’t returned any of our calls or emails since then. They are clearly still operating but just avoiding us… It’s very unprofessional to provide a significantly subpar service and then not deliver on a promised refund (that was in writing). I really hate writing bad reviews for small businesses but given this is a customer service driven industry, this is just unacceptable behavior and I want others to know before deciding to continue with Sheild."

"Dan, Will, and the whole team did an excellent job with my baby girl's first birthday party! We don't live in Eugene and we were hosting the party at a family member's house, so I didn't have any way to prepare anything myself. Shield Catering stepped in and it was all perfect."

"Sheild catered my Foundation's annual donor appreciation dinner for 70 people, and I have nothing but accolades for them! Dixie met with us at the location before the event to discuss everything and she was incredibly professional and helpful. The food was delicious- we got lots of compliments from our guests. They worked with us to create a unique menu that included appetizers, buffet dinner, and desserts. It was also more affordable than we were expecting! Will, the head caterer, was very communicative and efficient. The other staff, including the bartender were all very friendly. They cleaned everything up very quickly and even made sure that my boss (who was too to eat all evening) got a plate of food to go! 100% would recommend Sheild Catering for any event."

"First of all, they have outside seating. Also give and extra star because they allow our puppy. However. The snacks here are wonderful. We had the Spanish marinated olives and the aioli board that came with delicious bread. Was perfect for a late brunch. This was the first time I've been here. The atmosphere was relaxing, the facilities are clean and luckily we got really close parking. Which is sometimes hard to get in Whiteaker neighborhood. Friendly waitstaff. I'll definitely be coming back... next time for breakfast."
