"Robert did an amazing job on my son's hair. He's been to barbers in South Salem, Keizer, Woodburn, North Salem and this by far is the best fade he has ever had."

"John David might be the best barber in the Salem area! He is an artist, and I'll never let anyone else cut my hair again."

"Was in town for the day and Robert squeezed me in. Definitely the best haircut I’ve had in months. Robert was so detail oriented and nice. Couldn’t recommend Studio Bellezza more!"

"This guy Robert was very friendly with me before my appointment then when I showed up he was silent. He seemed irritated and distracted. He did nothing initially to make me feel comfortable and I was trying to decide if I had offended him. I have been to the tan republic which shares the same building several times and noticed there is usually never anyone in his salon. This should have been my first clue things wouldn't go well. After he realized he had created an awkward silence he sort of struck up a conversation and said he had started doing mens hair and didn't do "girl" hair until he got a bit more serious about becoming a hair dresser, excuse me I am a 30 year old woman not a 12 year old girl. He told me he wasn't gay and asked me if I would be interested in meeting up with him and his friends later that evening which I thought was a bit unprofessional. He seemed normal initially until I realized he wasnt doing what I had asked with my hair at which point he got very defensive and turned into a complete jerk. He was practically trying to get me to pay and leave at that point and all I wanted to know was what he was going to do to fix my hair, which I asked him several times. He then accused me of treating him as if he didn't care which he said was not the case so I said, "I never said you dont care all I want to know is what you are going to do to fix my hair? Because at this point whether you fix it or I go somewhere else someone is going to need to fix it." I have had hair dressers mess up my hair before but they have always fixed it. He made everything worse, I didnt know how bad it actually looked until I got home. I was so creeped out that he flirts with his customers but the worst part is he cant even do womens hair. Perhaps he should stick to mens and girls hair. Also I found out he owns the salon so its not like you can even report his inappropriate behaviour to his manager!"

"The stylist Robert is very friendly so I thought he would be a great stylist but be careful because he only heard half of what I said about what I wanted done with my hair. I specifically said ombré which he later told me is not the correct term... he did not darken my hair on top he only lightened it on bottom then when he went to walk away I asked when he was going to darken it at which point he told me how nice my hair was and that I didn’t need it darkened. I explained that it may seem silly but I like getting it darkened on top because I like the darker color also as every woman knows color makes your hair shiny. He made it sound like if he darkened it at this point my hair may not blend well. Unfortunately I am very vain about my hair and I started crying because I was so upset and he made it sound like he didn’t have any darker colors to choose from. Then he said he did have other colors or that he could rinse my hair if I wanted to go somewhere else. I wanted him to fix it since I was already paying for it and because I had told him 3 different times what I wanted. He seemed distracted by the tan republic girl who is very sweet and very nice and is actually very good at her job as she seems to be able to do it without flirting constantly with him. He was unfortunately distracted not only because he was constantly flirting with her but he was getting constant text messages and had several friends come in talking about their Saturday evening plans. Finally he found a darker color which I thought may work then when he started dying my hair he was flipping it in my face. I literally had bleach and dark dye all over my face and left eyebrow. He was a jerk after that even though I apologized about the miscommunication. When he started drying my hair I saw what he had done and leapt out of the chair asking what I owed him as I needed to get away from this Edward Scissors hands! He informed me that instead of the original price of 120$ it would now be 145$. So you made a mistake treated me like I was insane because I care about my hair and then decided to charge me another 25$??? I should add he informed me 30 min before my appointment he only takes cash or checks. So I only had cash I paid 160$ and I would have asked for money back and not tipped him at all if I hadn’t wanted to get out of there so badly. I literally left with my hair half dried. When I called a salon in Salem hysterical the lady actually knew his name and said unfortunately this happens a lot and they get a lot of his mistakes... please go anywhere else if you care about your hair, it’s not cool to look like a fool!"
