"Marisa is a gem! I found her at a previous salon when I first moved to portland 3.5 years ago. When she left, I searched the interwebz extensively until I finally found where she moved to- Waxing by MJ. Her salon is cute, quiet and relaxing. She makes you feel comfortable even when waxing more intimate areas. She is detail oriented so her waxing is comprehensive, and honestly out of the 25 years I've been waxing she's the least painful wax I've ever had. I love how she shapes my brows and one of these days will get some of her beautiful lashes done. She's not just a skilled esthetician, she's also a lovely human. You just can't go wrong with that combo!"
"I had never gotten my eyebrows professionally waxed or tinted, nor had I gotten my eyelashes lifted or tinted until I went to Marisa. She was absolutely amazing! She perfectly shaped my brows which are very light blonde, and the tinting made them look better than they have ever looked! My eyelashes have also been on fleek, and I wake up feeling so much more fabulous than before. Also, she is just a gem of a human; so sweet and easy to talk to. I will definitely be rebooking!"
