"Just passing through Eugene and decided to stop here. Wow am I SO glad we did. This is easily the best Hawaiian food I’ve had in all of Oregon, maybe even ever. The da kanak fries are an absolute must. I may need to make trips to Eugene just to get this food again."

"Tried this for the first time the other day, and I was PLEASANTLY surprised. I got the lunch plate with garlic chicken, rice, and Mac salad. It was 10/10 delicious. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. The portion size was enough to feed me and my toddler for lunch and for us to have leftovers for dinner! Tastes great reheated. My husband got the Fiya ribs, and I must say, I kept taking pieces off his plate. The char on the meat was top-notch. He got fried rice with his, and it had chunks of bacon and egg in it. Again, I kept eating off his plate because it was so yummy. I feel like the prices were fair, the atmosphere was friendly and casual, a great place for a family outing. We will definitely be dining here again!"

"Aww! What a total treasure, Eugene! Cute ambiance, great music and vibe, the sweetest staff and tastiest grinds! The perfect place to chase away my winter doldrums with a momentary culinary escape to sunnier vibrations and faraway climes! My mom's pick for her 73rd birthday dinner last night, and Chacha and crew did not disappoint! It's laid back and no frills, perfect for a casual weekday dinner. We ordered a throwdown of seven dishes to share, and all of them were delightful! Disregard any of the very few questionable reviews here, and know that the spice, umami, heat, seasoning and flavor here were all right on time and hit the mark above and beyond with every dish! Expertly balanced and the real deal. Anybody saying otherwise is likely looking for the frozen and fried pre manufactured goop slogged off at some other less authentic places passing it off pretending to be in the know. Don't fall for it! Go see Chacha, she and her crew will set you up right! Everything was great, get you a teri chicky, you know you want it... And there's is better than most any other around... but my hot tip is to do yourself a favor and whatever else you order, do not pass up on those ribs and killer Mac salad! They're not boasting a bit when they say they're FIYAH! Veggies, don't you dare sleep on the slaw and eggplant katsu, they're far out and spot on! They've got a great selection of veg friendly delights for you here! Thanks again, Chachas! You made our little low key celebration one we wont soon forget, and brought Mom a bright reminder of her cherished days living on the island in the 60s and 70s she's still beaming about!
