The Falls View Tavern

"For a tavern type place this is 5 star. Small and quirky. Funky bar top, a pool table and a pretty diverse set of slots, this is a good midday stop. Cheeseburger, chicken fried steak, onion rings and tots were all good. Will swing by again when we are in the area."

"The atmosphere, food, and beverages are all top notch. The atmosphere is diverse and fun. It's very casual, welcoming, fun, and LGBT+ friendly. There's a wheelchair ramp but accessibility may be challenging as parking is limited. It's a great place to warm up with some excellent fish and chips after enjoying the falls."

"Usually I'd just drive right by, but decided to try the broasted chicken. Wow, what a surprise! Great little neighborhood Tavern has updated outdoor court yard with fire pit & several outdoor seating areas. Inside offers Pool tables, bar, lottery games, & excellent food service, Not so sure of the Broasted chicken, but.think I'll give this place a 2nd shot."

"We were really excited to try this place, we heard so many awesome things about the atmosphere and the service. We ordered drinks and the service was great, the drinks came on time and the ladies were super nice. We ordered appetizers, those came out fairly quickly, but when we ordered food, it took about 45 minutes before we were so hungry we wanted to check out another place, so we went in to pay for our drinks and appetizers when we were met with “Your food will literally be done in 2 minutes”. We were taken aback by the amount of attitude, and we just wanted to get some food. We went back outside to wait for our food, and some of the other patrons had let their dog loose, approached our dog, and proceeded to become aggressive (genuinely not the staffs fault, I understand they cannot police the patrons at all times). But we were very much ready do to leave after this incident so I went in to pay for our drinks and was met with the same dismissive attitude and “Your food is literally done”. I explained we were super hungry but also needed to leave because of the aggression of another dog outside, so the bartender talked to her manager and rang up our tab. She said “So what food did you eat?! Our appetizers?” At this point I was so uncomfortable with the tension I was just trying to be compliant and leave. She handed me my change without looking at me. I am a service worker myself, and I will give the benefit of the doubt when I receive service like this because I understand people have bad days, and service workers deal with some of the most atrocious behavior (especially bartenders) but I feel like this wasn’t a reasonable way of handling the situation. I’m incredibly disappointed and won’t be returning to this location."

"The beer garden is majestic in the summer. And the covered area with a gas fireplace makes for an intimate area to bond with friends old and new, or to cuddle up with your honey in the colder months. Great staff, good food and I bet if you go there a time or two they'll even know your name."
