Gentle Dental Grants Pass

"I would like to start by saying my teeth were an absolute mess and needed lots of work. Ended up needing a full upper denture and a bottom partial. At first my anxiety was through the roof at the thought of oral surgery, so I requested some kind of gas or RX for nerves and the oral surgeon denied me that, for health reasons. Moving along, my oral surgery went better than expected and I couldn't be happier with the oral surgeon. 4 months later, it's been a nightmare...the denturist has now had to do 3 try ons and none of them fit or look decent. First try on, great auction but the smile and teeth were a joke. 2nd try on, nothing fits, no suction and again...WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO PUT IN MY MOUTH I looked horrific. I totally understand my whole mouth is changing but I'm starting to think each try on I had weren't even made from My IMPRESSIONS. Going back for try on 4 this week, I hope we start making some progress. Then I learned that it isn't even the denturist who has been working on my dentures, he just takes notes and sends them off to a lab who knows where. The last visit I was told he would personally work on my dentures because something is definitely not okay. Also, I was told at try on 2 that "I knew you would be difficult and picky"...um of course I will be, I have to smile at the world with these and have to like what I'm getting. I'm not sure if he would have actually let me leave the office with the 2nd set and be happy me telling people that this was Gentle Dentals work, not very good representation of work done at all. So in all I have not been happy, leave every appointment severely disappointed thinking "will I ever get a smile". So here is my requested review per the link sent to me asking. Let's all say a prayer that all goes well this next visit because I'm feeling uglier and uglier each week walking around toothless."

It would be nice to have some actual non-rushed time with the doctor, time where I don’t feel like they’re trying to move to the next patient."

The staff was able to get me in to my consultation with the surgeon sooner than my appointment when I had called and inquired on a Friday. Once I got in I expressed further my fears of not being able to make it through the weekend and Dr.Cheng was so kind as to do the extractions same day. He was very quick and professional, I couldn’t be happier that I’m no longer in the pain I was in and that my needs were important to him and the staff working along side him."
