"I went in with a broken molar that caused me no pain, just the annoyance of having part of my tooth gone. They took an x-ray and said nothing to me about it being extra deep or any such thing. Dr. Adams cleaned out the tooth area, which apparently had some decay, and he said afterwards it went so deep as to reach the nerve. Was it necessary to hit the nerve root? He put medicine and some kind of material over the area. He then refilled it, and at the end of the procedure informed me that it was so deep that the nerve could be impacted and/or dead at this point. I have been in excruciating pain for two straight days, and when the office called to follow up, I asked the regular questions such as should I be on antibiotics, will the pain go away, etc. That’s when I was told that it’s likely that the nerve root is dying or dead. Antibiotics are not recommended because the area is not inflamed. My biggest upset over this whole issue is that before Dr. Adams started the procedure, he should’ve explained that there could be consequences once he got to the decayed area. It’s very obvious that if you have an x-ray that shows the area in question is extremely close to the nerve, that should be the first thing mentioned prior to working on the tooth!! At this point now I am told I can either have it extracted or pay $3600 to get a root canal and a crown. I would absolutely choose another dentist for any future work."

"Doctor Adams and staff all do a great job. Very impressed. I'm also a self pay and it is not breaking the bank to get caught up on my dental work. I got a set of partials, upper and lower, and they fit perfect and the color matched exactly. Doctor Adams took the time to make sure they turned out perfect. Very Pleased and would recommend Harvard Dental Group to anyone and everyone."

"My husband first had some dental work done @ Harvard dental. I was currently attending another dentist locally. My husband was pleased with the work Dr.Adams did. I was having a difficult time with my other dentist and their lack of knowledge. Although they were less expensive and fit my budget, I know now, why they were. Just young recent graduates from dental school. My husband encouraged me to go to Harvard dental and see what they could do to help me with my dental issues. The staff is very organized and professional. They smile too! My last visit was surprising to me in that Dr. Adams put my needs first priority and really took the time to answer questions and gave me options. They also have a finance program available. In which I couldn’t have been able to get the work done I really need without it because I don’t have insurance. Thank you Harvard Dental !"

"Went in for a 6pm appt for a crown recementing. Had to stop the dentist to ask for novocaine/ numbing as he had already started digging at the molar gum areas with no numbing. I visited enough good dentists in the past I know how the procedure usually goes. This guy had an attitude toward me, irritated that I was in pain, and then at the end of it tells me I should really get sedated for my anxiety problem. Uh no, it's doing the work without telling the patient what you're doing and then being irritated if the patient is feeling some pain and showing it. Learn how to communicate as a provider Instead of blaming the patient."
