"We were unvited to join our friend (a local) to experience this restaurant. For sure a different affair. It serves a revolving (set) menu with a starter, choice out of 3 main dishes and a desert. Thw table is shared with other guests but not in a too greater group. We were at a table of eight and had the pleasure of meeting some lovely people. All up there were 2 tables of eight guests. The food was quite lovely and there was a nice selection of beverages. Furthermore there is a little gift shop."

"Pretty cool place, I've never been to a place with a full course meal. The food was great and the service was great as well. The view was awesome as well and they gave us a wonderful evening. My only complaints would be price and parking, the price is understandable but me being somewhat poor,I won't be able to visit often and the parking was a little cramped."

"Another lovely dinner at Sylvia Beach Tables of Content. The hummus was made with fresh garbanzo beans, the naan/ pita bread was this amazing combo (I can’t remember the me of it), the lamb was cooked to perfection, the salad was so fresh and put pretty much every salad I’ve ever had to shame, and the almond cake was divine. The presentation of every dish was gorgeous, and the service was awesome as usual! A wonderful meal to end a rainy day!"

"Consistently delicious meals featuring fresh locally-sourced seasonal ingredients, served by friendly staff. When I’ve dined here “in the before times” the seating was always 8-to-a-table, with an assortment of other guests, and we were encouraged to play a game known by the descriptive name “two truths and a lie” — each player makes three statements, and the other players try to guess which one is false. During the pandemic lockdown, they’ve changed things up a bit: limiting seating to one party per table, and requiring masks on staff and, when not eating, guests. The waitstaff and the kitchen are generally flexible and eager to help. Somewhere between the kitchen and the hotel upstairs, however, someone grows protective of the kitchen and deflects requests for what they consider to be too strict of dietary requirements. Sometimes this can come across as condescending or exclusionary, as when they told my wife — suffering from the weird complex of symptoms following her COVID infection last summer, know as long-haulers syndrome — “we like to celebrate food here, not cater to such stringent food restrictions.” For people with specific dietary needs, they and we both recommend Zach’s Bistro around the corner. If you’re able to eat more broadly without much concern for The details of the ingredients used (beyond their freshness and flavor), do reserve yourself a seat at the Table of Content."

"We’ve been coming here for over thirty years, and the quality remains. In fact, they’ve been using locally sourced before that was a trend. They serve a four course meal, with a choice of four entrees. Usually lamb/beef/pork, or chicken/duck or seafood or vegetarian. The salads are always amazing. Dessert recently was a chocolate hazelnut torte with caramel sauce. Reasonably priced Oregon and International wines are available. All by the glass, which is nice, with chef recommended pairings. They offer a flight to align with courses, as well."
