"I endured a very frustrating experience with service dept. I purchased my CPO vehicle at Gladstone less than 30 days prior to the service appointment. Toyota of Portland service department was first to find my car tire and car battery needing to be replaced. Christopher at Gladstone took over my case, but did not even know my vehicle is an AWD and recommended inaccurate service of only replacing one tire. After I questioned him, he revised his recommendation to replacing all tires. I found our conversation mostly frustrating and demeaning. He even pointed out that at time of my vehicle purchase, my car battery performance may have been just barely outside of the recommended window to replace the battery. If that is the case, my confidence in purchasing Toyota CPO vehicles in the future is definitely diminished. Right after service, I found new lights flashing on my car dash. I was again met with rude and dismissive service members. I offered multiple times if they wanted to see the service summary papers. They said no. They said, “I’m sure it was just an oil change.” What a completely nonsensical assumption. They also said matter-of-factly that the flashing sensor lights must have been triggered by highway speeds. Again wrong, I had not even left the lot. Why jump to all these assumptions without asking me for a single detail of what happened? Unfortunately, after this disastrous and frustrating experience, I hope not to willingly return to Gladstone service if I can help it."

"One thing I pretty much hate is waiting that is why I take appointments. It is funny that I had to make an appointment just to be told you have to wait hour and 45 minutes more because we are "very busy". So why did I make an appointment? Busy is not my problem that is why I called 5 days before to make an appointment."

"Been quite a few times since buying my truck and not impressed with the service I received the past couple times for sure. Purchased my Tacoma TRD Pro here in 2019 and got the extended service warranty. The past two times I’ve been in for regular maintenance though they failed to check my tire pressure (I have one that has a very slow leak which should have been inflated if they’d looked). Also the “tire rotation” seems to be simply swapping the front and back tires instead of actually rotating them. And I know at least once or twice they didn’t bother filling the washer fluid, which is what made me suspicious in the first place. My final gripe is with how long the service takes to complete. Maybe they need to limit the appointments per day a bit more, but it really shouldn’t take almost 2 hours to get an oil change and tire rotation even if you’re busy."

"Wonderful experience; the best service appointment I’ve ever had with a vehicle. Welcoming atmosphere and nice waiting area. The intake video shared with me my vehicle’s condition showing a movie of the condition and measurements of tires, suspension, brakes, filters and more were in the video that I could review repeatedly as I wished so I could decide what I wanted done on that visit and see what didn’t needed to be done on that visit but may be needed on subsequent service appointments. My Express Service Consultant, Steven Truong, was amazing in keeping me in the loop and the options available to me. All the other expediters and the technicians were extremely helpful."

"My uncle used to say you get what you pay for! At Toyota of Gladstone they go the extra mile for you! Yes, sometimes you don't want to hear that your car may need more than what it originally went in for however, they are on your side in making sure that you have a safe and reliable vehicle even if you have to pay for expenses you weren't prepared for. In the long run though it is well worth it because your vehicle is correctly maintenance therefore giving you not only a safe vehicle but peace of mind in knowing it's going to last that much longer.
