"What a great office! I have had many terrible experiences with "the dentist" and had 2 weeks of anxiety ridden days about this visit for a root canal. The day of the procedure, I arrived to the office parking lot early and sat there for about 15 minutes conemplating if I wanted to go in. I did go in but still had so much anxiety that I couldn't stop crying. Tears were literally pouring down my face and I was shaking all over. Dr. Sherry Bloomfield and the entire staff was so great. They understood I clearly had prior traumas and did all they could to ensure I was comfortable. Whenever I felt anything after being numbed (whether real or imagined feelings) Dr. Sherry made sure to make me comfortable again. By time we were half way through the root canal, the tears had stopped and my all over body shakes were gone. By time I got up from the chair, I was able to smile again and told Dr. Sherry that I could hug her because I felt so much better. Dr. Sherry and Pacific Endodontics has changed my outlook on dental care. While I still have some underlying fears about going to the dentist, I don't feel as anxious anymore. "The level of disappointment is unmeasurable. I called on a Friday needing an emergency appointment due to a root canal that had a piece of filling rubbing my gums- I knew this because I had a dentist already diagnosed the problem and suggested I find an endodontist. I called and the receptionist I spoke with was extremely convincing that I would be seen to resolve my pain with a root canal on the following Monday. I was flexible with a time change and spoke to her again about the probability of the procedure happening (as nothing is 100%) but she stated “the reasons we couldn't perform will be if there is something you aren't able to do ''. I explained my level of pain so I just had to make sure I would be able to be treated. She booked me and gave me full confidence. I paid upfront before the procedure was performed - cash no insurance. I went in for my appointment and received x-rays and with the diagnosis ( that I already knew) the first thing she said was “we will have to schedule you for this appointment as we don't have time for that type of procedure last min”. I walked to reception and their first available was two weeks out. As I stated before, I was in a lot of pain and obviously not going to wait two weeks. There are a lot of endodontists in our region.. So I paid for a sitter and paid for x-rays ($600) that I didn't need and they wasted my time. I felt so used and swindled by this company. I dont know if the receptionist has a quota to bring people in or communication training is lacking. Regardless I HIGHLY suggest finding another option if in an emergency scenario. I ended up finding an amazing endodontist in Beaverton that brought me in the next day and my experience was amazing. *The stars are only for the cleanliness of the office."

"Stay away from this place! After inviting me to their clinic, they hit me up with all sorts of fees--in the hundreds-- despite having insurance and before doing any treatment. I paid $300 for some X-rays. But, during a few conversations with the staff to discuss scheduling, I began feeling uncomfortable because of how rude they were to me, so I called around to a few other Endodontics. When I called Pacific back to request a copy of my X-rays, the manager got on the phone and immediately was rude to me for wanting to go somewhere else. A few days later I called them back to request my X-rays so that I could present them to another Endodontics. I was told they didn't have them, that their system "was down" and they'd needed to take them again if I wanted them. I went back and took the X-rays, but when I provided them to my new Clinic, the files were corrupted and not visible. That day I called Pacific Endo back, and the manager answered the phone. Before I could even mention the X-rays, she started yelling at me stating the last time she'd spoken to me was over a month ago, which was a lie. I had spoken to her 1 week ago. She yelled, "why are you called us? We've had many requests from other clinics for your X-rays." Then she hung up the phone. I was completely appalled by this and thought I'd never call them again. (I had wasted $300 on X-rays that I never received and had to take two times. ) Even stranger was about 3 minutes later, the owner called me from a unknown number. When I answer the phone she, too, began yelling at me and threatening me in an angry and hostile voice, so I hung up the phone. What kind of person calls back a customer just to yell at them? That's crazy! As a customer and as a patient, I will tell you that these people do not care about you. They only want your money. And if you don't bow to them, they will become hostile and try to belittle you. Unbelievably terribly service and treatment here!"

"I went in for a root canal today and I just want to share how pleased I was. I walked into a beautiful office, everything was very clean and I was greeted by a very friendly staff. I was checked in and almost immediately got into a chair. Kayla was super nice and walked me through everything that she was doing and continued to be extremely caring the entire visit. The same goes for Dr. Nguyen, she was extremely gentle and caring . She took great care fixing my tooth, as I felt no pain at all. I will definitely recommend Pacific Endodontics to anyone who needs a root canal. Thank you to everybody who helped me today!"
