"I went in Ben's Pawn shop in Carthage Tx on tuesday ask how many boxes of 5.56 ammo I could purchase. The elderly lady told me two boxes only I said ok and purchased two boxes. Today (friday) I was in Carthage and stopped to purchase two more boxes and had my wife with me. The elderly lady pointed at me and said I'm not selling to you cause you bought two boxes Tuesday I was somewhat shocked my wife said well can I purchase them at this point the young lady that works there grabbed the ammo from the counter and walked to the back of the store yelling for us to get out and never come back. To which I did quietly.. Well I won't ever darken their door again."

"I’ve been going here since I was a little boy. Sure the prices are a little high but I guarantee if you need an old part or help, he’s got it. Ben is a great fellow and has more knowledge about guns than anybody else you can find. I love this place and it’s a shame that all of these “internet shoppers and YouTube gunsmiths” want to leave bad reviews. If you’re not a true certified gunsmith, don’t leave bad reviews on things you “think” you know about. Support your local community and businesses !!!"

"They tried to give me $215 for 4 rings that I pawned in Marshall for $550!! They are a rip off!! Don't take your stuff to them. If I could give them 0 stars I would!! When I said I knew they were worth more because they've been pawned in Houston, their response was "Then you better take it to Houston". I didn't have to, just took it to Marshall. Don't do business here!!!!!!!"
