"The product itself seems to be a quality product. However, the sales tactics used and the actual price of the product is ridiculous! Saw the product at my local home show and did some research on the product and it seemed to be the product I needed. Had a salesperson come out on 02/07/2024 and it was a very high pressure sales pitch. They go through a scripted sales pitch and do a lot of justification for the price they will give you at the end. Then you will be given a price that they say includes several discounts and if you buy today, you will get another 10% off, but you have to buy today. The price I was given was $4,600 for only 132 linear feet, which is approximately $34.84 per foot. That price is guarded and not given out anywhere on the internet or at the home show. You have to listen to the justification sales pitch first like a timeshare. I believe if you have a quality product, it will sell itself and the more pressure that is put on me to act now in the sales pitch, the less confidence I have in the product. You will hear in the sales pitch that they have a A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and that their product is on the BBB's building. When you go to the BBB website, you will see that they have had 2,123 complaints in the last 3 years, mostly dealing with their high pressure sales tactics. So I really don't understand how they have the rating they do. You will noticed their marketing strategy is focused towards elderly consumers. You will see on the commercials and during the sales pitch, about the dangers of climbing a ladder to clean gutters and how you don't want to fall and break a hip or a leg. I am sure a lot of elderly consumers purchase their product after going through the sales pitch that I went through. When the salesperson raps up the sales pitch and you tell them I will think about it, they have to call their manager and give him an opportunity to try one more time. And again, you will hear that you have to act right now for the best price. Come on Leaf Filter, you can be so much better than this! You seem to have a quality product, sell it for a fair price and let the product sell itself. You should totally re-think the sales model and do away with the gimmick promotional pricing and have up front flat rate pricing. Sure you will make less profit per sale, but you will make it up in quantity of sales and your sales personnel will sleep better at night. The product will sell itself and you will have a lot of repeat business."

"I am so sorry I ever did business with Leaf Filter in Baton Rouge. Did not show up on day they were supposed to be here and I had to call them to find out what was happening. Was told would be here next day between 8 am and noon. Showed up at 1:45 pm Horrible horrible workmanship and the installer was super rude We DO NOT recommend these people to anyone. We should have known better because the rep that came to our house gave us a price of almost $13,000 then dropped it to $8700 and then came down to $3800 so folks do the math. Red Flags. SCAMMERS and very smart mouthed rude and terrible ! We won’t stand for this and may have to proceed further if not fixed CORRECTLY"

"The sales person was knowledgeable. The installation crew did a good job. I inadvertantly wrote the check for more than the cost. The installer called me and woke me up. I had a doctor's appointment, and told him I would give him a check in the correct amount at 3p. Next thing I know, a second guy calls and says they are outside ny house and I can come bring them the check RIGHT NOW. I had just gotten out of the shower and refused to rush as I could easily fall if I did so. Oh they would just wait. I repeated, 3p. Before I could even get dressed, a third guy is calling, demanding the correct check. The entire attitude was that instead of making a mistake, I was trying to cheat them. I reiterated, 3p. I half expected to be attacked when I went out for ny appointment, and made sure my dogs were secure in the house lest those jerks harm them. When I returned, I carefully wrote a check in the correct amount. After all the hassle, and harassment, guess who didn’t show up until 5p? And made it impossible to go anywhere or do anything which needed to be done? I gave them the correct check, took my wrong check, and said, good riddance. We'll see if their product lives up to their salesman's word. I was not impressed with the attitude."
