"I have done my taxes here for about 3 to 4 years now. All my other tax persons have been pleasant and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about doing my taxes. This year, however the person that helped me was still very pleasant, although they were not very knowledgeable or accommodating when it came to processing my taxes. I heard another tax person working with another client in the same room, and that situation sounded very different; the tax person asked so many questions, and was able to give good responses to questions that the client had . My tax person asked redundant questions, and it really did not seem like they knew how to process, or even work the system that they have. I was very confused majority of the time while they were doing my taxes. And to be quite honest after that experience, the price that I paid to have them done, I was extremely angry about it. When I asked questions toward the end of what I can do better for next year on my taxes, the response that the person gave me is something that I already have done, which is what they should have known already, so the “advice” I was given was useless. I was extremely displeased with my service this year, I felt like I was not helped, my questions were not answered, and I was just so frustrated about the whole experience this year, I felt like it was this person‘s first year doing taxes. The price was not made known to me that I was going to have to pay for my visit. So all in all my experience was not good this year, I do not know if I will return to Jackson Hewitt for my taxes next year. I think if I had a much more knowledgeable person and somebody who is more active in on it during my visit, I would’ve had a better experience."
