"I'd caution against using this repair shop. I came with a broken laptop screen and after a diagnostic was told it was a simple fix - wait for a flex cable and the job would be done. However, there were significant delays that turned this into a two-month process. Some of that was out of their hands, but there were multiple points of failed communication. Three times I was told that I could pick up my laptop the next day, only to arrive and find out that it was still on the work bench and the repair tech wouldn't come back for another day/the start of next week. When I finally received my laptop I realized that they had changed the screen as well - to a lower resolution. When I asked about this they first played it off like it was the original screen, then after checking the back they came back to inform me that my old screen was also busted, and I'd need to spend another $180 to get a new, proper screen. They never told me my screen was busted, and had I not mentioned anything I would've gone home with a downgraded system. I want to give the benefit of the doubt for all the confusion, delays, and miscommunication. And the repair tech did discount the tax on the new screen, so I don't think they're acting maliciously. Even so, at best they're severely disorganized and need to improve on their communication to customers."
