"My ex husband has stage 4 malignant melanoma of the liver which metastasized as melanoma from the eye 5 + years ago. After undergoing treatment in Alexandria being directed by MDA and that Dr retired it only made sense to switch close to home. Within one visit Dr Khan picked up what we saw symptoms of on an MRI and called on a Sunday to tell us they found 11 lesions on the brain with swelling and plans to start treatment began immediately without delay. Thank you Dr Khan. You and your staff have been nothing but nice in helping us transition Matt over and my family is glad to have you onboard with his care now. "I was not impressed with the process of how they go about the assessment phase of cancer patients. It appears to be a disconnect between the primary Doctors and the Oncologist. It also seemed as though you were not familiar with the patient’s record which was concerning. A person is diagnosed with a mass being identified by the primary Dr. The primary Dr sends it to the Oncologist to conduct a CT scan to identify if it cancer. A PET scan is done 1-3 days. I may be wrong but when the diagnosis of cancer is identified - why can’t a PET scan be ordered then see you vs the other way around? Patients want to know as much as possible… not knowing the stage or anything causes anxiety for the patient and family members. It appears processes are not streamlined and the voice of the customers are not being heard or valued. There is definitely room for streamlining processes and placing the patient’s piece of mind at ease. Thank You"

"I absolutely love Dr. Kahn. My complaints, appointment times are a joke. I’ve had to reschedule due to 1-2 hour wait time (past appointment times). The lady at checkout is rather rude. I’m waiting again, as I type, 1 hour waiting and counting. This is ridiculous. We get charged for appointments. Unless a doctor is having a medical emergency, there is no reason for patients to wait for more than 10 minutes past their scheduled appointment."
