"My son and daughter were so excited to experience their first cooking lesson here. It started off great. It was so great that I was making plans to come back next week and bring my other son for the next class. Chef Pat was asking the kids questions and since my kids are new to cooking and shy, they didn't know the answers. Instead, they would look at each other with a nervous laugh. Chef Pat took it as a personal attack against her apparently. She said my kids were laughing at her the entire time. Mind you, I'm sitting right behind them and looking at them the entire time. She addressed them in such a rude manner. I waited until the end of the class to speak with her and she was immediately defensive. The other ladies were nice but I still wasn't being heard. My kids said they did not want to go back because of the way Chef Pat made them feel. I am truly disappointed in the experience and the way things were handled. In speaking with the boss, she was so bent on backing Chef Pat, she wasn't trying to understand how we felt. I would not recommend spending money at this establishment again."

"Awesome experience! All the kids had a blast & 3 of them were already asking if they could have their next birthday party at Young Chefs Academy. The staff was also very patient & even included my 15 month old. They also took care of everything so the parents could enjoy watching the kids have fun instead of scrambling around during the whole party."

"If you are looking for an interactive birthday party place for a group of kids, this is not the place. We had our daughter's birthday party there. While she had all the attention and was able to be the sous chef, her friends all sat there bored out of their minds because they had little to no interaction with the staff. They did not help with making any of the foods. The only time they were involved was when they DECORATED the cupcakes and pizza. Two of the main staff members did not interact well with kids ranging from 4-8 years of age. For the price we paid, we are truly disappointed. I would not recommend this place for birthday parties."
