"I’m so glad I chose LA Institute of Massage Therapy when I decided to change my career. One of the best experiences! I initially looked into a few massage schools in my area, but ultimately LIMT had everything I was looking for. All of their information was listed on the website, which was a huge time saver. Carrie (Director) answered any additional questions I had with a prompt reply. The application process was simple and they even had payment plans available. I signed up for the weekend class which took about a year to complete. I live in Lafayette, so I commuted every other weekend for class. I loved that they had this class option available so I could continue working full-time during the week. The level of education I received at this school is beyond compare! The curriculum covered a wide variety of material, ensuring I was fully prepared and confident to pass my final exam, practicals, and MBLEX (state licensure exam). It had been nearly 10 years since I was a student in a classroom setting, but LIMT exceeded all of my expectations of what I thought massage school would entail. Lastly, I cannot speak highly enough of the instructors at this school. Each teacher is super friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. Their passion for massage therapy shines through during each class. But more importantly, their compassion for each student is immeasurable. They truly want every student to succeed and flourish in their newfound careers. For me, there was a huge sense of belonging when I stepped into the classroom. You form bonds with your classmates that will last for years to come. I was blessed to have Susan, Christy, Lisa, and Carrie as my instructors. In my opinion, the dedicated owners and instructors are what make this an exceptional school that is certainly a cut above the rest! It’s been nearly 4 years since I graduated, and thanks to LIMT I can proudly say I own and operate a successful business that has helped hundreds of clients with pain relief and/or pain management. I found my calling and it’s a great feeling to help others!
