Reviews
"Very nice visitor center. Nice boardwalks, but are sor not yet repaired from storm damage. At the visitor center, it is mostly open, and we have always seen alligators there. Due to the drought, they are temporarily away to be in water."
"Wonderfull National Park with many trails for all levels. We get lucky to see alligators right on the visitor trail few feet after the visitor center. You get to know more about the wetlands and the swamp during the guided tour that we really loved. The Rangers are amazing, thank you. Kids also loved the Junior Ranger program."
"Great place for a quick nature hike. Visitor center trail was mostly boardwalk. If you go to the overlook and back, it's right at 4 miles. In this 4 miles we saw several types of snakes and 3 or 4 alligators. Definitely a cool spot!"
"Excellent! This is a long walk of you are doing the entire trail. There is a helpful visitors center, and I would advise looking at the trails and maps. Amazing pictures and great experience. Were tennis shoes or good walking shoes. Also, I would bring a snack and a camera!"
"This was a great spot! We wanted to go back but we didn't have time. There's lots to see here and they said the full boardwalk takes 2 hours. We only walked for about 20 minutes and saw 2 gators! Lots of snakes and other wildlife and it was really fun!"
