Thanks to the efforts of former students and supporters, the Atlanta-Miller Grade School has been saved from destruction. The nonprofit organization, Atlanta Grade School Friends, was established in 2003 to oversee the restoration and maintenance of the building. With the help of volunteers and financial contributions, the school has been stabilized and is now undergoing a complete renovation.
The Atlanta Grade School Friends are working diligently to preserve this piece of history and make it accessible to the community.
