"Hands down the best elementary public school in the parish. They are the only school to offer the French immersion program. They also have a lot of sports for the children to be involved in: baseball, archery, soccer, and basketball are just a few. They still have a music and arts program, which is very rare these days. I do wish they would bring back their spring musicals. I know everyone looked forward to those."

"My son goes here and it is well organized and prioritized but some of the staff need to be replaced with ones who love what they do so the kids can have more motivation and appreciation shown for the effort of doing well."

"We moved in the middle of this school year, and the staff answered all my questions and even allowed us a tour of the school; we also got to meet his new kinder teacher during this time. I didn't get a very welcoming vibe, however, the front office staff and all the teachers made my son feel right at home and helped him adjust. I will have three kids enrolled in the 2016-2017 school year, and the registration process was quick and simple. I was told to keep an eye on the Iberia Parish website for orientation day, which I found out the other day. Overall, my son loves NLE, my girls are excited to start, and while I'm not a fan of Common Core, the teachers are amazing."
