About the Business

Blair House New Orleans

Blair House New Orleans is a real estate agency located at 1830 Burgundy Street in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Owned by David Blair, the agency specializes in French Quarter/Marigny rentals. The area is known for its historic Creole cottages and lively atmosphere, with popular nightlife spots and live music clubs on Frenchmen Street.

The Marigny neighborhood is often referred to as the "Marigny triangle" due to its unique shape along the Mississippi River. During Mardi Gras, the area becomes a hidden gem for locals looking to celebrate in a more authentic and artistic setting, away from the chaos of Bourbon Street. The Krewe du Vieux parade, known for its satirical and raunchy style, also starts in the Marigny.

Home to many artists, musicians, and notable residents such as chef Paul Prudhomme and actors Harry Shearer and Jennifer Coolidge, the Marigny exudes a bohemian charm. Blair House New Orleans offers rentals in this eclectic neighborhood, with rates varying depending on the city's festivities. For inquiries about availability dates and rates, customers can contact the agency via email at blairhneworleans@aol.com.

"Stayed here in October 2023. The location was great for walking to the French Quarter, Bourbon street, and downtown New Orleans. The house is spacious. Unfortunately the bedrooms were extremely dusty and dirty. We couldn't turn on the ceiling fan because there was so much dust everywhere. The curtains looked like they hadn't been dusted in years. It smelled very musty. Needs a thorough, professional cleaning."
