"Way overpriced, Office staff is horrible the new office staff. All they want is rent nothing else, They send out threats of eviction when it’s not needed the security gates are always propped open so that defects security. And don’t bother asking the office staff anything because it’s a waste of good time. And does anyone knows who owns this building or where you can make a complaint? Thank You if you do."
"I had a bad experience here where my property ended up damaged inside of the leasing office. I ask to review the security camera tapes so I can see how my package ended up in the office. I was told by the property manager that I cannot see the tapes. This is really disappointing considering the fact that this property has made it clear that they are not responsible for packages however, this is where my property ended up. Be careful if something happens to you at this property. You might not be able to view the security tapes. Also there is no security cameras in the hallways. If your property gets stolen or if someone assaults and robs you there is no way they can effectively investigate."
"Way over priced. Trash room always filthy. Some ppl who live here don't pay rent so they don't care about what they do to the building. There are PESTS that they don't spray for and when they do come they spray just like two sprays. The parking in the back is extra on top of the outrageous rent. Office won't accept packages. There's no dining space the layout for the apartment is small and not worth the price. No pool. The maintenance just show up whenever they want when you have issues. Once went over a week with the refrigerator out. Right now water is leaking from the washer called last week still no one has shown up. There owners and the managers are robbing the tenants as we pay so much to live here and they don't want to spend the money to do any real maintenance or PEST CONTROL. we are not dirty yet we have roaches that they refuse to spray for. I can't wait to move and I will never rent a place managed by latter and Blum EVER"
"3.5 Stars- Not a bad place to live. The location is actually pretty good. One block off St Charles, much to do around the area. The area on this side of St Charles has evolved alot recently, especially in the past 6 months. It's mostly pretty quiet for the most part, sometimes I hear the people upstairs, but not much. The gym needs works, some of the machines are broken and there's not much variety. Before I moved out, they were starting to respond to tenants complaints about the property's upkeeping and have done a pretty good job at maintaining the property after a whole winter season, much of the property was left to be desired for. It's getting better, improving and it sounds like they are getting more young professionals in the area to lease instead of section 8. As for the interior of the apartments- pretty new for the most part. Apartments are not very big, but are a decent size. Appliances are relatively new (within the past several years). Rent for the location is a great value! And they have security on the premise after office hours with working cameras which keeps for a peace of mind for most folks."
"A large complex of 3 buildings built about 4 years ago. It's in a transitional neighbor but the location couldn't be better for getting downtown and uptown. There is off-street gated parking, although the gates too often aren't secure. The apartments have good basic appliances, although the rooms are small. Some of the room designs and arrangements are better than others, but at least there are 3- and 4-bedroom apartments available, a welcome change from most of the greedy developers post-Katrina who break houses up into 1- or 2-bedroom places, which is unfriendly to families and anyone who needs an extra room for office space and guest space. There's a small workout room and a nice common room. There is also a small outside area of tables and BBQ pits; it's often used by smokers in a town that still welcomes smokers. Unfortunately, there is no roof deck or balconies to have coffee on, but it's near many coffee houses, restaurants, and bars. Like most new apartment buildings in the city, it's a mixed race and income building, which is a wonderful change from the city's segregated past; however, the buildings are not well soundproofed, a problem if you have noisy neighbors or neighbors with children. While the rents are not cheap, they're better than many other complexes, and they're a good value in a city whose housing costs have obscenely outpaced the average working salary."
